From the Assessor's Office

  • 2013 Tentative Assessment Roll
  • Real Property Tax Law Section 1590(1)
  • Natural Hazard Mitigation

We are currently engaged in a Natural Hazard Mitigation planning process to identify potential natural hazards that can impact property and residents of Schenectady County, assess the potential loss from each hazard and to propose actions that can be taken to prevent or reduce the effects of any given hazards impact.

Schenectady County is seeking public input on which natural hazards people feel represent the greatest threat to people and property with in their community. To facilitate input, an online survey has been developed that will take five to ten minutes to complete. The survey can be found at www.schenectadycounty.com/HMP.
